Important Update: The Future of the Australian Council of Professions (ACoP)

We’d like to inform you of significant developments concerning the Australian Council of Professions (ACoP). After careful consideration and extensive consultation with stakeholders, ACoP has decided to align with the Australasian Society of Association Executives (AuSAE) as a dedicated chapter.

This transition will allow ACoP to continue its important work of promoting professionalism and advancing the standing of professions across Australia, while ensuring greater sustainability and relevance. By joining AuSAE, ACoP will benefit from enhanced infrastructure, reduced operational costs, and a broader value proposition for its members.

Key Benefits of the Transition:
* Improved operational sustainability and resilience
* Broader value proposition and better return on membership
* Access to enhanced systems, communications, and support
* Reduced operational costs and membership fees
* Streamlined administration with less reliance on volunteer support

An online information session will be held on 25 July from 2:00 to 3:00 pm AEST to discuss this transition and the associated special resolution. We encourage all members and friends to attend for further clarification. Please comment below for a link to the information session.

Additionally, we look forward to the official launch of the new AuSAE Council of Professions (ACoP) on 10 September 2025 at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne. We hope you will join us at this important event as we embark on this new chapter for ACoP and the professional community. Further details about the event at Marvel Stadium can be found at AuSAE – AuSAE ACE 2025 Registration
